지난주에 온라인으로 가방을 주문했어요.
배송은 빨랐지만, 상자를 열어 보니까 색깔이 제가 고른 것과 달랐어요.
처음에는 조금 당황했지만, 바로 고객센터에 메시지를 보냈어요.
직원은 사진을 보내 달라고 했고, 저는 상품 사진과 주문 번호를 보냈어요.
다행히 답장이 빨리 와서 교환을 신청할 수 있었어요.
며칠 더 기다려야 했지만, 이번에는 맞는 상품이 도착했어요.
작은 문제였지만, 다음에는 주문하기 전에 색깔을 한 번 더 확인하려고 해요.

온라인으로 = online
가방을 = bag / object
주문했어요 = ordered
-았/었어요 is used to talk about the past.
2. 배송은 빨랐지만, 상자를 열어 보니까 색깔이 제가 고른 것과 달랐어요.
상자를 열어 보니까 = when I opened the box and checked
색깔이 = the color / subject
제가 고른 것과 달랐어요 = was different from the one I chose
-지만 means “but.” -아/어 보니까 is used when you do something and then discover or realize something.
3. 처음에는 조금 당황했지만, 바로 고객센터에 메시지를 보냈어요.
조금 당황했지만 = felt a little flustered, but
바로 = right away
고객센터에 메시지를 보냈어요 = sent a message to customer service
바로 means “right away.” 고객센터 is useful when talking about customer support.
4. 직원은 사진을 보내 달라고 했고, 저는 상품 사진과 주문 번호를 보냈어요.
사진을 보내 달라고 했고 = asked me to send a photo, and
상품 사진과 주문 번호를 = product photo and order number / object
보냈어요 = sent
-아/어 달라고 하다 is used when someone asks another person to do something.

답장이 빨리 와서 = because the reply came quickly
교환을 신청할 수 있었어요 = was able to request an exchange
-(으)ㄹ 수 있다 means “can” or “be able to.” In the past tense, it becomes -(으)ㄹ 수 있었어요.
6. 며칠 더 기다려야 했지만, 이번에는 맞는 상품이 도착했어요.
기다려야 했지만 = had to wait, but
이번에는 = this time
맞는 상품이 도착했어요 = the correct item arrived
-아/어야 하다 means “have to.” 맞는 상품 means “the correct item.”
7. 작은 문제였지만, 다음에는 주문하기 전에 색깔을 한 번 더 확인하려고 해요.
다음에는 = next time
주문하기 전에 = before ordering
색깔을 한 번 더 확인하려고 해요 = I am going to check the color one more time
-기 전에 means “before doing something.” -(으)려고 하다 is used to talk about an intention or plan.
English Translation
Last week, I ordered a bag online.
The delivery was fast, but when I opened the box, the color was different from the one I chose.
At first, I felt a little flustered, but I sent a message to customer service right away.
The staff member asked me to send a photo, and I sent a product photo and the order number.
Fortunately, the reply came quickly, so I was able to request an exchange.
I had to wait a few more days, but this time the correct item arrived.
It was a small problem, but next time I am going to check the color one more time before ordering.
