Why TodayKorean

Understanding Korean is not the same as being able to use it.

Many beginner courses explain grammar clearly but leave you wondering what to do next. You recognize the rule, yet building your own sentence still feels difficult.

TodayKorean closes that gap. Every chapter first helps you understand a new structure, then gives you guided reading, speaking, and sentence-building practice using Korean you have already learned.

The goal is not to finish more lessons. The goal is to use what you learn.

COURSE PREVIEW

See what learning with TodayKorean feels like.

Clear teacher-led explanations, practical examples, and guided exercises help you follow the logic of Korean without guessing what to study next.

All explanations are in English, with Korean examples introduced step by step.

Every chapter. Two connected lessons.

First understand it. Then learn to use it.

Each A1 chapter pairs a Grammar Lesson with a separate Practice Lesson, so learning does not stop after the explanation.

Hi, I’m Hyunku, the Korean teacher behind TodayKorean. After teaching thousands of online lessons, I kept seeing the same problem: learners could understand individual grammar points, but struggled to connect them and build their own sentences.

I created this course to close that gap. Each chapter gives you a clear explanation first, then guided opportunities to read, speak, review, and actively use the Korean you have learned.

The goal is not to give you more grammar to memorize. It is to help you connect what you learn and use it independently.
